Post-It Note From God

As a general rule, I prefer going to Back Porch for my morning coffee fix, mostly because they have the best coffee in town, but also because I can never get in and out of there without seeing someone I know, and that kind of thing brightens my day ~ it’s why I love living in a small town!

This morning, however, I randomly decided to get my coffee at Starbucks. I was totally inspired by the little quote on the cup, and it was so exactly the message I needed to be reminded of. It felt like God sent me a special post-it note on a coffee cup this morning. I liked it so much that I decided to share it with you:

“The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating: in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life.” ~ Anne Morriss

(A little geeky of me, but it’s a good one, no?)
